Sunshine Makes Me Happy

My dog, Chia, follows the sun all day long. In the morning she's on the steps in the foyer getting the early morning sun, then the dinning room for mid morning, computer room at lunch, and the family room and kitchen for the afternoon. Where ever there is a little piece of sunshine, she is there!

She's cute. Is she pure chihuahua? I had one growing up that would bury herself in blankets all the time to keep warm. She loved the sun too. Ever have a problem with her getting sunburned? We used to have to keep an eye on her because she had alot of white fur and would burn.

Yes, she is pure chihuahua. She was given to us when she was five months old, could of gotten papers but didn't need them. She is never outside long enough to get sunburned and hasn't gotten burned from the sun through the windows yet. She has a box on the couch in the computer room with a blanket in it and all three pounds of her loves to burrow in that. You have to be careful sitting on the couch in the family room if a blanket is on there, I've sat on her before not knowing she was curled up under there. She's all love and sheds like a big dog. She can hear a plate scraping a few rooms away, loves to help clean the plates after dinner.

Life with a chihuahua! For small dogs, they certainly do take a lickin and keep on tickin. I've never known one not to get sat on, on a regualar basis!

I know the feeling,( see my av). Cute little doggy, I have never owned a chihuahua, but they do seem like sweet dogs, maybe in the future Ill get one.

I sit on mine all the time. they hide under the blankets or the pillows.
