Super Secret Forum Lunch..

I've been working up here for THREE weeks, and we haven't had a super secret forum lunch in DC yet?? What the hell people!!?

Is the Capital Grill any good?? Good place for a super secret lunch??

Or the closest McDonalds..

You have NO idea how disappointing it was drive up here on a Sunday to move into my office, JONESING Boston market at the National Air Space, to find out half of the museum is closed, and all they had was cold food in chillers.. and $8 hot dogs.. to walk over to Le Enfant to find out 90% of it was closed on a Sunday.. Don't they know I'm here yet??

Where in DC are you ?

There are bunch of restaurants on Capitol Hill [ admittedly my knowledge dates back to the 90's on that]

as far as the K St Corridor .... most every chain is there, and loads of local places ... I was last working @ 18th and H St in 2005

Potbelly was a favorite

Kind of a fan of Potbelly in California..

But am at 6th and Independence.. thought I was going to have Boston Market across the street.

If it warms up, will get out and explore, but I think le Enfant is about a 5 - 10 minute walk from here.

Food trucks line MD Ave (in front of the Smithsonian Bldg) during lunch. That's my recommendation. There's hundreds of them to choose from. I don't think Boston Market has a food truck though.

Otherwise you'll need to cross the Mall for the good spots.

Behind our building is the Captial Gallery (an office building) and the street is LOADED with old nasty looking food trucks.

McD’s at 4th and C, Potbelly’s at 3rd and D...The new hotspots are over on Maine Ave SW (7th and 9th, old fish market/wharf).
