They're not - I'm quite experienced on that subject - clogged more then a few tanks in my time.
Why is it harder on the septic systems than regular TP? If you only use a couple of tissues at a time, for instance.

I've been told it's because it doesn't dissolve the same way toilet paper does. In fact, my landlord lets every tenant know that the cheaper the toilet paper the better it is for the septic system. I've actually seen toilet paper dissolve in the tank and tissues just float there - even the cheap ones.

Thank you I get by with six squares; my son clogs the toilet. And leaves the lid up. Down to two rolls.
My youngest does as well. My sister gave us some Charmin mega rolls and the two boys have already gone through one roll! I normally buy Angel Soft and I think the thicker Charmin is not helping him not to clog up the toilet.

My son is a wadder. Why use ten squares when a half a roll works just as well? Between that and leaving the damn toilet seat up or when he leaves it down and misses. I swear I don't know which is worse and how do you miss anyhow. It's ready, aim, fire isn't it? We should have it so good. Sometimes I think he's just messing with me.

I still see plenty of the single rolls of the institutional paper products in the store I've come to frequent since the job change. It's nice to shop for 1 or 2 "non-essential" items at a time and not worry about judgmental people. Their fresh produce is always fully stock as well.

Mine tells me he has massive poops and that is why he clogs it. Lucky for me, my two boys have their own bathroom and my husband is trained well enough to always put the seat down.

Massive poops - where do they come up with this *hit at? :lmao:
I think it has to do with being born with a hernia that wasn't diagnosed until he turned blue 10 days later. While at the hospital getting surgery, they discovered that his appendix (which has since been removed) was in the wrong spot. So was his spleen. And his intestines were malrotated. Basically, his insides are a mess so it's no wonder he has bathroom issues.
