It has to be that the lawyer is reasonably educated, but he knows that most progs aren't. So he can pretend that quote is a rebellion battle cry from a movie and Biden voters will believe it, or at least not question it. Because we know how they are - some Democrats may understand the context but they will never admit it or correct the guy who's using it to attack their mortal enemy MTG. They do not have the integrity for that sort of thing.
