So we now have a bunch of D’s saying Justice Thomas has to recuse himself from anything doing with Trump to prove to them their impartiality. The theory being that the SC has lost the trust of the people of the country. The question is has the SC lost that trust because of their actions or because of the D’s continuous statements about the court losing their trust. The real answer is going to be some of both so my answer is going to be 30/70%.

It doesn’t really matter. With Thomas, the vote will be 7-2 rejecting the immunity claim. Thomas and Alito will be the dissents.

No way that Roberts, Gorsuch, or the broad nominated by Trump will not reject the immunity claim.

And we know from a piece authored by Kavanaugh long before he became a Supreme where he stands on Presidential immunity.


In the end, no way in hell the Turmeric Turd’s immunity claim is upheld. With or without Thomas.
