The thing is that stuff happens all the time and we don't know about it because the media doesn't report it for whatever reason. Like, an accident on the TJ bridge isn't going to make national news....UNLESS the media is trying to put together a Summer of the Shark type bridge accident epidemic hysteria event to get eyeballs, and then suddenly you're hearing about every single bridge accident all over the world.
