Surgeons operating on thyroids

Ok, my thyroid has to go! Only one side though, and I'm curious as to any experiences good or bad with surgeons in southern Maryland. Since Dr. Goldberg at CMH recently died, my endocrinologist is at a loss for a trusted competent surgeon with experience removing thyroids.

A friend suggested Dr. Cindy Daly, but her reviews, although dated, were hit or miss. None specifically dealing w/ thyroids.

I've only heard about good stuff where Dr Daly is concerned. I understand your concern with who to go with. Maybe your Doctor can suggest someone out-of-County! I wish you well.

Recently talked with a friend that had this done. They said no one down here should deal with that. Go up to DC area for the doctors/surgeons there.

I agree!! When it comes to stuff like that..I would do the same.

I went to Annapolis Endocrinology.....ABSOLUTLEY WONDERFUL....the doc in the practice I saw was Dr. Narasimhan, however, they are all GREAT. I had a Total Thyroidectomy and highly reccomend them!

I swallowed the radioactive iodine pillpill to kill my thyroid at johns Hopkins in baltimore.
