Surgery Tomorrow

Well, Baby A has his surgery for the stricture tomorrow morning. I am a nervous wreck for him. Unless a trauma patient is brought in tonight he will be the first in the OR tomorrow morning - he will be intubated and put to sleep for the 2 hour procedure. Then we wait 2 weeks and pray it worked and he's able to eat again.

After that he waits 2 weeks (or so) where he'll have another surgery on his head because a CT scan has confirmed fusing.

My poor baby can't catch a break!

Baby B is home and doing well. I think he feels my anxiety tonight because he's not trying to sleep either!

This here reminds me to be thankful for the healthy children I have. This brings tears to my eyes just thinking of what you are dealing with and going through and that such a little person is having troubles getting started in life. But hang on, be strong and he will too.
I will say a prayer for baby. I hope everything goes well for him and the rest of your family. Please keep us updated (when you can) on his recovery.

Thoughts and prayers for your little one and your family. I know you've all been through hell and back these past couple of months. Please call if you need anything at all. I'm right around the corner if you need me. :huggy:

Just caught this thread. Hope everything has gone okay so far -- many, many prayers going out for baby & family. Hang in there, he seems like a tough little one, we're all thinking of you & your family.
