Suspect Arrested in Ice Cream Truck Killing

Charles County officials have arrested a suspect in the killing of a teen who was shot while riding in her family's ice cream truck.

Kevin Mark Warren of Waldorf has been charged with first-and second-degree murder, armed robbery and the use of a handgun in the commission of a felony.

He is accused of firing several shots into the truck last month during an attempted robbery. Thirteen-year-old Briona Jasmine Porter died after being hit in the back.

A warrant was issued June 30th for Warren's arrest. He was taken into custody last night after sheriff's deputies, acting on a tip, stopped a truck he was riding in.

Warren is being held without bond at the Charles County Detention Center.

If he was riding in the truck I hope they arrested everyone in there ESPECIALLY the driver. And WTG CCSO!!! :clap:

Too bad the arrest went peacefully. I was hoping for a shootout where the CCSO could shoot something that actually deserved it as opposed to defenseless animals.

but on the bright side, you know how they feel about child killers and molesters in jail.

Defenseless??? I think you better look up the definition. I don't think there was anything defenselesss about that dog.

To whoever wrote the "knows nothing about the situation" comment I know more than you know about both situations the suspect aprehension and the dog getting shot. So you are the idiot going on heresay I have the facts.
