The Prince George’s County Police Department arrested a suspect less than five minutes after he robbed a bank Monday in Oxon Hill. The suspect is 54-year-old Saleem Muhammad of the 4000 block of 1st Street in Southwest, Washington.
On July 15th, at approximately 12:20 pm, patrol officers and Robbery Unit detectives were notified of a bank robbery on Audrey Lane. Responding officers were able to locate and arrest the suspect minutes later at a fast food restaurant a short distance from the bank. Officers recovered evidence from the robbery on Muhammad.
Muhammad is charged with robbery, theft and related charges. He’s in the custody of the Department of Corrections on a no-bond status.
