The Prince George’s County Police Department’s Homicide Unit charged a man in connection with a fatal shooting that occurred Sunday evening. The suspect is 18-year-old Raymond Terry III of Landover. He is charged with the murder of 26-year-old Vincent Fisher III of Landover.
On February 16, 2025, at approximately 6:50 pm, officers responded to the 2000 block of East Marlboro Avenue for the report of a shooting. Once on scene, officers located Fisher inside of a SUV suffering from a gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead on the scene.
The preliminary investigation revealed Terry and Fisher were together in the SUV when the shooting occurred. They were known to each other. The motive for the fatal shooting is under investigation. Terry turned himself into officers at the Landover Division III station a short time after the shooting.
Terry is charged with first and second degree murder and related charges. He is in the custody of the Department of Corrections on a no-bond status.
