has anyone bought suze orman's fico score online package? does it help? Anyone have any good,bad, experiences w/ any of suze orman's books,packages etc.

I have no desire to purchase any of her financial help books-I use to enjoy listening to her, she's now become some sort of Dr Phil of the financial world. She has gone from finance to armchair psychology-ugh.:blahblah:

You're entitled to a free, yearly credit report from each bureau.

It's recommended that you get one every four months instead of taking all three at once to keep tabs on identity theft or errors...

You can read everything you need to know about fixing your credit for free as well on the web using Google...

I think a great financial book to buy is "All Your Worth" by Elizabeth Warren. I bought it several years ago and it has made a world of difference to my finances. It has great sound advice that is actually doable. As for Suze Orman I bought one of her books at the same time "The Money Book for the Young, Fabulous & Broke" and I was shocked to read her telling people to go into credit card debt if they were in college and just pay it off later. I'm not sure about some of her other books but that one stank.

Suze Orman I think is great and has lots of good ideas but it's also nice to hear others info on how they handle situations. They have great ideas, sample letters for clearing up old accounts, and credit watch reviews from people that are actually using them and report on their effectiveness.

David Bach also has some great financial suggestions as well. I hope this all helps you out. Feel free to message me if I can help with anything else. I could refer you to a few people I work with to help repair my clients credit for them to get them the best loan programs.
