Anyone see on the news about people having sites for bartering? Does SO MD have anything like that going? Be interested in checking it out... TIA.

I personally do not have the computer knowledge to start a bartering site but I am sure that someone knows how and can attach it to the Southern Maryland Site. This is a great idea

Yahoo has a FREECYCLE group. If you have a yahoo account you can join. People who have items that they want to get rid but are still usefull can create a message and people can response if there are intested in that item. It's better than stuff going to the dump. Everything is free. I have gotten 2 TV's that way and several of small stuff. It's also a way to get rid of your stuff when you're down sizing or cleaning out that basement or attic. You can also put a wanted message in if you are looking for something.
