Male, about 1 1/2 yrs. White and gray short hair, not declawed.

My neighbor and BF have just moved in and he's terribly allergic. The kids are broken up about it, so they want to find a really good home...anyone?

Hi,
There are SOOOOO many other unwanted cats out there... I doubt you'll be able to find it a home. Try this first PLEASE!

I discovered that I was allergic to cats and I didn't want to separate from my sweeties so I found some meds that do the job, and they are CHEAP!!

I'm sure you have heard of Flonase, well don't get that because its expensive.

They offer a generic version of Flonase called "fluticasone propionate nasal spray".

It works wonders! I even cut the dosage in half (one spray/nostril/day vs two) and I still have relief.

Since its generic, my insurance only charges me $7/28-day supply and since I use half the perscribed amount I only pay half that! It does require a perscription though, and that's easy enough.

So, do your kids and the cat a favor and tell that new person to deal with it. The cat was there first. Get the nasal spray, its cheap, and it'll teach your kids that getting a pet is a life-time committment : )

She'd be better off getting rid of the boyfriend than her family pet.

A guy allergic to cats is just about worthless. Guys are supposed to suck it up and suffer in silence.

:roflmao:

I had a friend once who ended up with kittens when she was allergic. She took the meds and it greatly helped. After a couple years, she hardly needed the meds as much (and she was bad when the cats first showed; her eyes would swell up visibly and get puffy red).

Hey me too! I think it comes and goes. For a while last year I didn't need any, now I'm taking them like everyother day. Growing up I didn't have any, and my mom had anwhere from 6-12 indoor/outdoor cats. Now I only have 2 and it's on and off.

I'm allergic to cats and I just take Zyrtec or OCT Claritin when I get bothered by the allergies. I'd dump the person who just moved in or they'd have to learn to deal with it.
