Ever hear of sweetest day? Growing up around Cleveland it was a big holiday for the candy makers. Chocolate covered strawberries from Malley's was the gotta have/receive gift item with drive-thrus set up all over selling the sweets.


It is always the 3rd Saturday of October which is this coming Saturday and I have a special gift this year for my ol' lady.

I dated a girl from Bay Village so imagine my suprise when she got mad I didn't get her anything on sweetest day. (like I knew what that was)...LOL....but honestly, buckeyes are where it's at from Malleys !

GF was pretty happy. I got her some books from her favorite author that I was able to get autographed. Wrapped it up real nice, popped it in a gift bag and dropped it off at her work. Of course no-one at her work had heard of the day either, but she was happy.
