FYI Registration for Swimming lessons started today @ 8am for Charles County. Classes fill up fast.... I Just got my little girl in one of the North Point classes.....:yahoo:
I just registered over the phone....

Just thougth I'd put it out there for the other parents..........

Registration for Calvert Co (Kings Landing and Cove Point) begin at 9am on Saturday April 25th. You can register at your local community center or on-line if you have registered through CCPR before. Hopefully, everyone has received their CCPR Spring Program book in the mail by now!! If not, here's the link Parks and Recreation Swimming lesssons are on pg 25.

Wow, they're actually not making everyone line up like cattle this year? What a novel concept! That's actually great to hear, as waiting in those lines and giving up an entire Saturday morning has been a royal pain. We have not done the lessons the last couple of years, but I've been thinking about getting back to them this year. Making it easier to register may be just the push I need.

I agree. Last year, people were lining up by 6am and the doors didn't even open until 9am. I thought for sure that I wouldn't get the spots I wanted but lucked out. I thought they should have done one day for each pool so that the lines wouldn't be so long but going to the community center or on-line makes it alot more easier. I have two kids that haven't stopped talking about swimming lessons since the last day of lessons last summer. :jameo:

there SURE are and they're great!! Hickory Hills runs a program in their neighborhood and it's available to anybody, regardless if you live there. the lessons run for 2 week and there are 3 sessions offered in the summer.
