Basic premise is the same as we have seen many times before: dad goes after his daughter's evil kidnappers. If you like action flicks like the Die Hard series, you will enjoy this. My wife and I liked this movie for one reason--and that was Liam Neeson (the dad). Dad was a CIA operative that retired because he wanted to move closer to be by his daughter, who now lives with her mom and her new, rich step father. Mom encourages daughter to lie about where she and her girlfriend are going in Europe to get dad to sign papers allowing her out of the country. While dad's berating his daughter on the phone (while moving in to her new digs) for not calling him upon landing in France, she sees her girlfriend abducted in the next room and dad realizes his daughter is going to be taken, too; he gives her advice on where to hide and tells her what other information she needs to tell him. Using his CIA contacts and their unbelieveable technology, dad tracks down her kidnappers in typical Bourne series action! He learns his daughter has been sold into prostitution and ultimately the good ol' boys network (upstanding 'white' guys in tuxedos) is behind it all. This movie is full of action and Liam Neeson holds it together. Definitely worth my money, my coke, and my nachos.
