Joels been blowing it big time lately, hear him sadley say he dosent know whats in the Bible. He says "Thousands get saved" but he dosent know what that means???

Heres a clip of Al Mohlers radio talk show where he tries to give Joel the bennifit of the doubt. Various interviews clips are played where Joel confess I dont know.

Probably the most amusing statement is. "its Gods will for you to have the best parking spot" or how to pray to win favor with a waitress when your in a hurry to eat lunch and be seated.

My question for anyone that thinks this is just picking on Joel. How do you preach something that you dont read or dont know?

It's amazing how many people are drawn to "preachers" like Joel Osteen. Joel is basically a feel-good "motivational speaker" with a religious twist that makes his attendees believe his message is from "God". The fact that by his own admission Joel does not really know the Bible is proof that he is in this for his own self-interest and self-gain which has made him a very wealthy individual. It is truly sad that Joel Osteen misuses the message of God but then again the Holy Bible states that such teachers would come along to tell people what they want to hear:

2 Timothy 4:2-4 (New International Version - UK)

Preach the Word; be prepared in season and out of season; correct, rebuke and encourage— with great patience and careful instruction.
For the time will come when men will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear.
They will turn their ears away from the truth and turn aside to myths

:yay: I tried watching him once because I heard people say he was interesting to listen to, but all I found was his constant smile to be annoying. Just my opinion, he can try to preach what he wants, but just like my feelings on Obama, I think all they are are motivational speakers and that's why people are drawn to them.
