Taliban Find a Way to Win Over the Left: Hunting Down Christians

Now the Afghans who have converted to Christianity are in mortal danger. The statement continued: “The Taliban has a hit list of known Christians they are targeting to pursue and kill. The U.S. Embassy is defunct and there is no longer a safe place for believers to take refuge. All borders to neighboring countries are closed and all flights to and from have been halted, with the exception of private planes. People are fleeing into the mountains looking for asylum. They are fully reliant on God, who is the only One who can and will protect them.”

If they don’t find a place to hide, the consequences could be horrific: “The Taliban are going door-to-door taking women and children. The people must mark their house with an ‘X’ if they have a girl over 12 years old, so that the Taliban can take them. If they find a young girl and the house was not marked they will execute the entire family. If a married woman 25 years or older has been found, the Taliban promptly kill her husband, do whatever they want to her, and then sell her as a sex slave.”

When they find a suspected Christian, Taliban jihadis search his or her phone. Rex Rogers of SAT-7, a Christian media ministry to the Middle East and North Africa, said Tuesday: “We’re hearing from reliable sources that the Taliban demand people’s phones, and if they find a downloaded Bible on your device, they will kill you immediately. It’s incredibly dangerous right now for Afghans to have anything Christian on their phones. The Taliban have spies and informants everywhere.”

Clown World: CBS Blames Climate Change for the Rise of the Taliban

In a Babylon Bee-like story, CBS reported that climate change has aided in the resurgence of the Taliban. The only difference is that CBS wasn’t joking.

“Rural Afghanistan has been rocked by climate change. The past three decades have brought floods and drought that have destroyed crops and left people hungry. And the Taliban — likely without knowing climate change was the cause — has taken advantage of that pain,” CBS had the stones to report.

This is the first paragraph of the article. In order to take this sheep dip seriously, one has to believe CBS has a department dedicated to studying decades of weather in rural Afghanistan. I don’t believe Afghanistan has that kind of info, much less CBS. Do you know what CBS does have? Wi-Fi access that allows them to read the Wikipedia article saying the weather is responsible for the Taliban’s rise.

Afghanistan is mostly desert and mountains. I am not a farmer, but I DO know two things:

  • Deserts are notoriously bad for planting
  • Mountains are notoriously bad for planting

If the Taliban released a report about climate change, and how they profited from it, I would gladly read it. But they won’t do that. In fact, here is a list of things I believe the Taliban would prefer to spend their time on:

No country for musicians: Afghan folk singer shot dead by Taliban in Andarabi Valley, claims family

The shooting Friday of the folk singer came in the Andarabi Valley for which he was named, an area of Baghlan province some 100 kilometers (60 miles) north of Kabul. The valley had seen upheaval since the Taliban takeover, with some districts in the area coming under the control of militia fighters opposed to the Taliban rule. The Taliban say they have since retaken those areas, though neighboring Panjshir in the Hindu Kush mountains remains the only one of Afghanistan’s 34 provinces not under its control.

The Taliban previously came out to Andarabi’s home and searched it, even drinking tea with the musician, his son Jawad Andarabi told The Associated Press. But something changed Friday

“He was innocent, a singer who only was entertaining people,” his son said. “They shot him in the head on the farm.”

Doesn't it seem like the Biden administration is trying legitimize the Taliban?

We already know that China has met with the Taliban about the Silk Road initiative. That happened in July of this year. Now rumors are circulating that the Afghanistan government would not tap the resources they have in the ground when asked about a pipeline before. Could this be why Biden bailed out of Afghanistan with zero organization? Could Burisma Holding be making a deal with the Taliban soon to drill?

Kinder, Gentler Taliban Murder Afghan Folk Singer, Because Music Is Un-Islamic

This prohibition is not a manifestation of “extremism”; though widely ignored, it is based on the highest authority. While it is not in the Qur’an, it is in the Hadith Qudsi, that is, reports of Muhammad’s words and deeds in which the prophet of Islam is quoted saying that Allah said something. In one of these, “the Prophet said that Allah commanded him to destroy all the musical instruments, idols, crosses and all the trappings of ignorance” (Hadith Qudsi 19:5). In a similar tradition, Muhammad is also depicted as saying: “Allah Mighty and Majestic sent me as a guidance and mercy to believers and commanded me to do away with musical instruments, flutes, strings, crucifixes, and the affair of the pre-Islamic period of ignorance.”

Other traditions have Muhammad saying: “On the Day of Resurrection, Allah will pour molten lead into the ears of whoever sits listening to a songstress.” And: “Song makes hypocrisy grow in the heart as water does herbage.” If that isn’t enough to get you to throw out your old Led Zeppelin LPs, yet another tradition attributes these words to Muhammad: “This community will experience the swallowing up of some people by the earth, metamorphosis of some into animals, and being rained upon with stones.” Someone asked, “When will this be, O Messenger of Allah?” and he said, “When songstresses and musical instruments appear and wine is held to be lawful.”

Music is taken to be a sign of decadence: “There will be peoples of my Community who will hold fornication, silk, wine, and musical instruments to be lawful.” (Reliance of the Traveller r40.0)

Taliban spokesperson warns US not to interfere with their culture, treatment of women

"There will be no issue about the women’s rights. No problem about their education, their work," he added. "But we should not be after changing each other’s culture as we are not intending to change your culture, you should not be changing our culture."

Shaheen also described the U.S. military withdrawal from Afghanistan as the closure of one chapter in the country’s history.

"We have closed one chapter. For us it was occupation. We ended that, we were staging resistance," he told Fox News. "But now it is closed. It is the past. We have to focus on the future that is better for them and for us."

Shaheen’s comments Friday came as reports are emerging that a new interim government will be announced soon in Kabul. And Taliban co-founder Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar will be in charge of that, sources told Reuters.

Taliban Returns To Horrific Violence After Biden Admin Praised Them As ‘Professional And Businesslike’

Turabi’s comments are especially troubling for Democrat President Joe Biden, who has seen his public approval rating crater in recent months after his disastrous withdraw from Afghanistan. The administration praised the Taliban earlier this month as showing “flexibility” and being “businesslike and professional.”

Perhaps the most problematic portion of the AP’s report for Biden was the following:
He said now the Taliban would allow television, mobile phones, photos and video “because this is the necessity of the people, and we are serious about it.” He suggested that the Taliban saw the media as a way to spread their message. “Now we know instead of reaching just hundreds, we can reach millions,” he said. He added that if punishments are made public, then people may be allowed to video or take photos to spread the deterrent effect.

Well if true, not a bad sentence for kidnappers ... Punishment is a bit Medieval

maybe we need a bit more of that here ... try to firebomb a Federal Court House night after night ... you just get put up against a wall

It's doubtful it was more than retaliation for resistance.

These primatives aren't engaged or interested in actual crime or justice.

Hell, every action they taken since 2001 is criminal.
