Taming my frizzy old lady hair

You know how the tube of conditioner you get in a hair coloring kit is so great and makes your hair shiny and healthy looking, and no commercial conditioner really does that?

Well!

The gal at Sally's hooked me up with Ion brand After Color Treatment and it is ah-MAZING!! I blow dried my hair straight and it actually straightened just like when the hair stylist does it. No crinklies sticking out, no poofiness, it looks like I just had a professional blowout. Today we're going downtown so we'll see how it holds up in the humidity.

My wife uses Mizani products on her curly ass hair. She seems to like it best out of the things she's tried over the years. It's for black people, so it works for curly hair. I don't think they sell it at Sally's though. They do sell it at Ulta (and some stuff at Wal Mart I believe)

Out running around yesterday, caught in the drizzle this morning, hair is still straight and sleek. Normally my hair would have started curling up toward the end of the day.

So I'm pretty happy with this product.
