Tim Walz Called Out Over Viral Video of MN Daycare Tied to Millions With No Kids and a Misspelled Sign

A viral video highlighting the Quality Learning Center in Minneapolis has reignited scrutiny of alleged fraud in Minnesota's child care programs under Governor Tim Walz (D).

The clip, posted to social media accounts by independent videographer Nick Shirley, shows that the daycare in question, which Fox News reports is licensed to care for up to 99 children, was seriously bereft of children.

"There’s no one here," Shirley says in the video.

At one point, he and another man approach the building, prompting a woman there to shout to others, "Don’t open up. It’s ICE."

"Go away. You’re not welcome here. Shame on you," the woman states.

Shirley notes that, according to his research, the center was the beneficiary of a good chunk of taxpayer funds in the 2025 fiscal year, yet couldn't even take the time to spell the word "learning" correctly on their sign.

"Are you in favor of $1.9 million going illegally/fraudulently to this business that [is called] ‘Quality Learning Center’ but can't spell ‘learning’ right on the door?" he asks.

Every American should watch this video - over a million views in 2 days already. Crazy to think this is happening in America!

Power with Control
I read a good article by a former military guy with time in the formerly popular sh#$holes. He points out that for them there is nothing culturally wrong with taking from the govt in favor of the tribe, its seen as insane not to. The tribe is your blood, the govts just a bunch of guy somewhere else.

I'm reminded of a time in Saudi, us enlisted guys on the crew were watching the 1989 Superbowl in one of the hooches (two bedroom mobile homes really) in our compound in Dhahran. A one of the crew had struck up a friendship with a Saudi oil engineer who had come over to watch the game. He had gone to I think Texas Tech. When he mentioned that he was coming to the San Francisco area the next year, he said he and our guy would have to go out. When our guy said he would need a little notice to clear it with his wife, the Saud was blown away. "What is this 'clear with my wife'? She's just your wife, you don't clear things, you tell her then you go."

Just a whole different cultural norm.

Journalist Nick Shirley Shreds Tim Walz’s Desperate Bid to Sound Competent As Scandal Implodes

Independent journalist Nick Shirley lit up the internet with his video this past week on Minnesota day care centers, where he alleged that he didn't find children, but he did find people who didn't want to talk or answer questions. The full video is now approaching 100 million views, an amazing number. He even found one "learing center" that had a misspelled name.

What that number of views shows, I think, is how disturbed Americans are by the subject and how much they want it to be addressed.

The national attention may even have forced Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz to act in a defensive way, because he made this post on Sunday, apparently to argue how great things were.

Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz desperately defends himself from Somali fraud allegations uncovered in damning viral video

Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz pushed back against the ever-growing fraud allegations levied against him in the disastrous aftermath of a viral video in which an independent journalist cracked open a crucial part of the alleged Somali aid scheme.

A spokesperson for Walz, a Democrat who frequently provokes President Trump’s ire, addressed a bombshell video posted by conservative YouTuber Nick Shirley.

“The governor has worked for years to crack down on fraud and ask the state legislature for more authority to take aggressive action. He has strengthened oversight — including launching investigations into these specific facilities, one of which was already closed,” the spokesperson told Fox News.

Is It Over for Tim Walz?

Over the last couple of months, the Minnesota fraud scandal has exploded from a local news story to perhaps the number one story in the national (and even international) news. We at American Experiment have been in the middle of the storm. One tweet we did about the Feeding Our Future scandal that was retweeted by Libs of TikTok, Chris Rufo, Elon Musk and many others got 47 million views on X alone.

The scandal has now expanded far beyond Feeding Our Future. Joe Thompson, the Assistant U.S. Attorney who has prosecuted the fraud cases, has said publicly that at least half of all spending on Minnesota Medicaid programs is fraudulent. That would be around $9 billion. And there are other welfare programs that are neither Feeding Our Future (administered by the Department of Education) nor Medicaid. Child care centers, for example.

The latest fraud bombshell is a video by a young YouTuber named Nick Shirley. Shirley travels around doing interviews of various kinds; he has been to Paris and New York, and probably other places, as well as Minnesota. I don’t know Shirley, but I have no reason to doubt that his videos are genuine:

Squalid, State-Licensed ‘Day Care’ Has Listed Phone Number Taking You To Tim Walz’s Office

A child care center licensed under Democratic Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz’s administration raised eyebrows by having a publicly listed phone number leading to Walz’s office.

Sweet Angel Child Care in Minneapolis went viral Monday after X users pointed out that its phone number on Google Maps is the same as Walz’s office — and after YouTube creator Nick Shirley featured the building in a Friday video investigating whether several state-licensed businesses in Minnesota are legitimate.

Minnesota Department of Human Services (DHS) records also show the day care kept its license despite numerous violations of state child care standards, raising questions about oversight of such businesses under Walz’s welfare bureaucracy. Minnesota continues to draw national media attention in recent months over federal investigations alleging that fraudulent businesses, mostly run by the state’s Somali population, stole more than $1 billion in housing assistance and other programs. Sweet Angel Child Care has not been implicated in any cases.

On Sweet Angel Child Care’s licensing webpage, the Minnesota DHS directs viewers to call a number that leads to the voicemail box of a different number with a Nebraska area code. The Daily Caller News Foundation left a voicemail and did not receive a response.

Beyond the Minnesota DHS page, there is hardly any trace of Sweet Angel Day Care’s existence. Shirley, the YouTuber, was greeted with skepticism when he arrived at the building to question employees, video footage shows.

“I want to put my son, Joey, in day care,” Shirley said after knocking on the door.

“Why?” a voice on the other side said. No employee would answer Shirley’s questions or let him in.

How is the Saudi guy wrong?? Doesn't every man treat their women that way?? I mean, BadGirl knows who is in charge, and when I go out she's lucky if I even tell her where and when I'm going. She's just lucky I never go anywhere, or that's how it would be!!

Shoot.. Man UP!!
