what is the best place to tan in the charlotte hall or calirfornia area.. also if you happen to know prices that would be great.

Tropical Islands or something like that. It's by lighthouse liquors in Charlotte Hall kind of across from the WaWa. It has good rates, never have to wait or anything and I usually walk in. (I think because most people dont' know about it)... I'll get you the exact name in a sec. I think I have their business card and phone number somewhere.

I can't find the card right now, it must be in bottom of purse and I'm at work and not dumping everything out on desk :lol: I think its Pleasure Island tanning.

I think the county will let you throw down a blanket or set up a lounge chair in the median for free.

I go to Suntime in Charlotte Hall. Never been to Dems' place, but I love Suntime.
301-884-8880. Very reasonable rates, lots of beds, VERY clean, different package deals. I've never had to wait when I've gone there.

I don't go that far down :lol: I hit the closest one - Pleasure Island. What are Suntime's hours? Not that I'm doing the tanning thing, just wondering.

I really don't know what their hours are. I think 8ish in the morning to 8ish in at night.

I just know that whenever I've gone there, I've gotten right in.

My daughter's doing the spray on tan thing there tonight for prom.

I don't see once a month or a few times a year being a big deal. I prefer the real sun because it lasts longer and doesn't dry your skin out.

I do not. I also do not lay out in the sun. I do not care about being tan. I'd rather live long and look young. Now, if I felt like shelling out for a spray on tan, I'd go that route. :shrug:


But yes, there are tanning salons all over the place here. It is not bright and sunny the whole year.
