Teacher caught in Bush "rant"

Too true......
Well, apparently some 300 kids are "boycotting" the school (meaning they're cutting classes) in support of this teacher. I heard it on the news a few minutes ago. They "say" that the teacher DID present both sides of the argument.SamSpade said:
What I'd like to know is what Hitler, George Bush and capitalism have to do with geography, which is what this teacher was SUPPOSED to be teaching instead of giving his Leftist lectures.

Well it said the teacher taught HS, I personally didn't have a Social Studies course after Middle School. I did take Political Science as a senior and discussing the current president would make sense in that course but it would also make sense in a Geography course. I don't think it matters one wit weather is was leftist or rightist or religion or math. If it wasn't in the lesson plan it shouldn't be taught.

Oh please, teachers compare Bush to Hitler all the time. This teacher will probably be re-hired. I doubt if the kid recorded all of the comments the teacher made though - usually if a student does this to get a teacher fired which I think is probably the case, he/she will likely be very selective about what he/she records.
