I don't see why they cant vote before or after work.

Becasue it's a caucus not an election process..

Either you attend the mid-day caucus and be represented, or you don't.. It's done over just a few hours, not all day voting.

I would BET that they voted for this change last year thinking the Hotel Workers Union would back Hillary, and now that they didn't they want to change it back.

Bunch of morons.

Wouldn't this be illegal though?

You have a Constitutional right to vote, your employer or union cannot take that away from you.

But Shrillary's in it to win no matter who's rights have to be revoked to do so.

I've never done a caucus, but what I gather is you don't REALLY cast a vote.. but gather in a room and represent your candidate. You count as a percentage of the people in the room (precint?) supporting your candidate.

Iowa was interesting.. if you don't get 15% of the vote, your delegates have to move to someone else..

Parties would startegically locate themselves, so if your delegate didn't make the 15% cut off, you could look at Hillary's delgates and say.. "We need 4 people to get our 15%, either you give us 4 people or we are all walking over to Obama's part of the room"

VERY interesting way todo business, and even if I didn't have a vote, I'd love to sit in a room and watch it work.

What I DO like about it, is there are no secrets. You raise your hand, get counted, and you as well can count as to who everyone is supporting. A lot of room for manipulation, but no room for voter fraud, or 'lost ballots'

Well, this is a primary and I don't actually recall anything in the constitution about having a right to determine who each political party was going to put up for election. Actually I dont remember seeing anything about political parties in the constitution at all.
