So, I think you have to make a clear distinction between what sort of robots we are talking about. Things with a human in the loop, making the kill/no kill call? Or autonomous systems, of which we do not have any that I know of. Robots being controlled directly by a human, meh, no different than sending a bullet or bomb downrange. Unless you want to quibble about a "fair fight". Screw that, win the damn fight.

I'm more concerned with the Cyber-Soldier the military's been talking about. By 2050, the military fully expects to have neural implants "installed," meds being used more comprehensively and pervasively, etc.

Not saying it won't be "necessary" (as peer competitors will be doing the same thing), but I worry about the consequences (privacy, long-term effects, etc.).
