Bet ya he runs for POTUS in 2024.

I don't think Ron DeSantis will run. Part of that is wishful thinking on my part, but also there's no real reason for him to. He has a good thing going in FL, basking in overwhelming approval - why would he want to jump in the ring and deal with the psychos? Put his wife and kids in the line of fire of sociopath Demprogs who are already lobbing death threats at his family? Why would he do that?

DeSantis will have another term as Governor, then he can think about his next move.

In the meantime, I'm predicting Cruz will be the guy. He's done a personality rehab - that revival preacher goob is gone and a smart, witty fighter has taken its place. He can thank Trump for showing him that you can - and will - have crazy popularity when you just act like yourself instead of some smarmy oily politician.

I know the bots are obsessed with Trump, but I'm thinking he's over it and more effective as a king maker, like many of you said (and I pooh poohed you, but I've reconsidered and now think you're probably right). Although I have to tell ya, the progtard meltdown would be amazing to watch if Trump did decide to run. :lol:

Those commercials saying "Send us money and we'll draft Ron DeSantis to run in 2024"? Yeah, those are bullshit and if you send them money you are as retarded as any progbot.

I get your points and agree on all but I would rather see DeSantis than Cruz. As you said Cruz has morphed but his past would haunt him in a campaign. DeSantis has always been DeSantis and his position on issues has alweays been steady so the opposition could not attack him on his past. So in the end it comes to DeSantis deciding if he is comfy in his success in FL or does he want to try to bring the same success to the whole country? I can understand if he doesn't go for it based on your points but I really hope he does.

I think most Republicans don't run because there ar damned few people alive who have never done any wrong.
Now with democrats that doesn't matter. Nothing matters to them because they own the press and are really great liars.
But --If a Republican pulled a little girls hair in Grade school the democrats would make it sound like she was decapitated when they brought it before the media.

Most republicans just want to live a decent life and not be harassed by haters.
