High school junior is charged in the shooting of a classmate on a school bus.

A 17-year-old girl accused of shooting a classmate on a school bus has been charged with attempted murder and will be tried as an adult, the Broward state Attorney's Office announced Wednesday.

Camille Alicia Burke, of Miramar, is accused of shooting Kaliesha Cheatham, 17, of Pembroke Park, in the shoulder with a .32-caliber semiautomatic handgun on Nov. 15, a day after the two girls fought on the bus.

This story is effed up on so many levels.
The driver grabbed Burke, forced her off the bus and drove away. Although Burke pointed the gun toward the window where Cheatham had been sitting, no more shots were fired.
So that's what happens when you shoot a classmate aboard a Florida school bus - the driver kicks you off the bus?

"The victim is shocked that this event happened," Schneider said. "She doesn't understand why. She doesn't feel that anything ever happened between the two of them that would even come close to justifying this type of an act."
So there might be an actual altercation between two teenagers that WOULD justify a shooting?
