How old is she? I know it's somewhere around $5/hour.JabbaJawz said:What's the going hourly rate per kid for a 16/17 year old babysitter? We have one coming this weekend and she doesn't charge an hourly rate, just takes what you give her. I want to ensure that we're fair.
I would say around $5 per hour for your 2, I assume this will be at night and at least one (if not both) of them will be asleep most of the time.JabbaJawz said:What's the going hourly rate per kid for a 16/17 year old babysitter? Seriously, it's probably fair to say that $5.00 would be a good rate.

I Pay $5 an hour per child. Alot of my girlfriends say I over pay, however, I am never without a babysitter. They are always available when I need them.JabbaJawz said:What's the going hourly rate per kid for a 16/17 year old babysitter? You should babysit for BuddyLee.Fruitcake Lady said:I could babysit for you, but I remind myself of Mrs. Kwan in the Cat in the Hat and there is no guarantee I can stay awake the entire time that you're gone.
