BELLE GLADE, Fla. -- Two Belle Glade teens have been charged with putting a woman's kitten in the oven and burning it to death.
Officers said the 15- and 16-year-old boys were among as many as four culprits to walk into Mona Show's home, trashing the place and killing her kitten.
The boys have been charged with cruelty to animals, burglary, grand theft and criminal mischief and are being held at a juvenile facility.
Police said the teens wrote "RIP" on the oven and scrawled a threat on the living room wall.
Shows told police she caught the boys on her property about two weeks before the Aug. 28. incident and told them to stay away.
