Tempurpedic

nope, just my regular old bed frame. If you're looking, try out the store next to Best Buy, that guy is very helpful and has lots of info.

Thanks, I was there earlier. I am just checking things out before I contemplate spending 4 times what I paid for my first car on a bed.

Same here, hated the select comfort. I have a tempurpedic 2" mattress topper, love it. Looking forward to getting a full mattress of it someday.
I use to have a Foam mattress years ago, only problem was heat. I got very hot sleeping on it.
But I hear that has changed.
The wife and I are still looking for a new mattress.

I got the 4" about 3 or 4 weeks ago and I still can't get used to it. Always feel like I'm going to roll down hill. :killingme

We have had one for about 3 years and we still love it. I used to wake up because of pains in hip but no more. We are not stiff when we get up in the morning either. You don't have to spend the bucks for the fancy frame, if you need the mattress to support you while bed ridden, use the pillow trick underneath the mattress. Get the frame in a couple of years if you find you need it. It does take a couple of days to get used to the mattress though.

How is it if you sleep on your side?
I have a tendency to alternate sleep on both sides.

It is ok for me, I am a side sleeper. Although I hear you are supposed to sleep on your back with this mattress to gain the most benefit. I don't.

I don't know what model they have, but some friends of mine got theirs about 3 years ago & I think they really love it. I remember it cost a LOT - they got the whole bed and foundation, too. They only have a full-sized bed, though.

I have latex (natural) rubber mattresses on all our beds. You can get different firmness levels. If you have allergies they are the best and last about 25-30 years. If you like the extra softness use a tempurpedic topper.

con : $$$ & weight.

The mattress I have sleeps "warm" not hot. I like it cold myself. But reading about it's actually not the mattress thats sleeping hot, its you. The mattress opens up your circulation better (leading to less aches and yadda yadda).

I have a queen Tempurpedic mattress for 3 years now, and I love it! I don't wake up with achy back anymore, and I can get up in the mornings without feeling any soreness/achy.

I bought my mattress from the store right next to the Best Buy. I didn't buy the bed frame to recline.

The mattress is worth the investment! :yay:
