Terror charges for boys accused in plot

My favorite part is how one of the Dads thinks it was a mistake. Right.

CAMDEN, N.J. -- Four teenagers accused of plotting to kill about 25 people in a lunch-period massacre at a high school were charged Thursday under a terrorism law created after the Sept. 11 attacks.

Doesn't seem like it'll go anywhere - the law carries a 30-year minimum sentence and the kids are minors. If the news story is correct and they didn't have the weapons to do it (showing that they would likely to carry out their plot), I question what caused the authorities to pick that particular charge.
