Rocky Mountain High!!
For those of you who know and love our Black and White leopard Appaloosa mare Tequila, we got some super news this morning!
Shamrock Arabs leased her for an '09 half arabian foal, hoping to get some color in her program. She bred her to their gorgeous Bay arabian stallion Corvette, who has been shown successfully. Shamrock and really wanted something to add back into their breeding program from him, he's getting up in age now.
Te foaled this morning...a BEAUTIFUL HEALTHY BUCKSKIN FILLY! Needless to say everyone is thrilled with the new addition. We had no idea Te was a smokey black under all those black spots on her white body.
What a shock! Our filly from Te sired by LeRoy just turned 2 in January and is a near leopard black and white - Now i can't help but wonder if she's a smokey black too.
I've attached some pix of Te with our daughter last year, riding with Paso. Pictures of the newbie will come this weekend.
