Heck. Just pop into the 'ole emergency room and tell them you stepped on a nail and that your last tetanus shot was 15 years ago. You'll probably be seen before the falla that's bleeding all over the place with the bone sticking out of his arm.

I got one a few years ago at the CVS in Dunkirk. Tried to remove a heating element on an old water heater and the wrench broke and my elbow slammed into a rusty nail that was sticking out of a 2x4. Fun stuff..

Mine was just sticking a wire from a steel cable into my thumb while trying to adjust the brakes on my moms walker.

Haven't had a tetanus shot since 1992. Can't risk a problem because I have nothing I can do with mom if I'm out of commission.

My doctor asked me when my last tetanus shot was and I couldn't give her an acceptable answer, so she ordered one. As accident prone as I am, it's good to stay current.

Most CVS's do vaccinations of all manner. Go to cvs.com to make an appointment. The one in Target sometimes even gives out coupons to save on shopping after your shot.

My son got his at Cyreene pharmacy last week as a walk-in. They're great.
