I wanted to thank you for being considerate to riders, and not flicking your cigarettes out the window when they are behind you. The other day I actually had a passenger flick one over the top of the car at me in the left lane. He missed and I pointed out to the donkey that he had as I pulled up to the next light.

As for people who are inconsiderate this happened to me the other day...

It was an on again off again rainy day. I was on my way down 4/2 and came to a sectin of road just before Prince Fred. It had just rained but wasn't currently raining as evident by the wet road. When coming to a stop at a light I carefully moved into the right lane and stayed to the right on te "dryer" part of the road. I was next to a Big white dually pickup with HD sticker in the window and HD mudflapps. I though to myself not a bad place to be, a fellow rider. 2 cars ended up doing 360's in the intersection while turning onto northbound 4. Confirming my thoughts that made me get over to the right.

The light changed I pulled carefully away again staying on the dryer part of the road where the cage tires had been. Now, the pickup gets a mere 2 car lengths at best ahead of me and pulls to the right in front of me spraying me with tire wash, only to gain one car length and pull back to the left!!!!

I had to think this guy was either a complete jackass, or a poser/weekend warrior! Just adds to my dislike for the Harley crowd. I know there are good people out there that ride HDs, but I'm beginning to think the majority of them are just wankers looking to impress people.

Sorry for the rant! And Please don't take offense if you're a HD rider. Like I said I know there are real people who ride em as well.

Which begs the question "What is a real Harley Rider?"

I have to question weather he even owned a Harley. I mean if you ride a bike you are aware of bikes around you and what your actions do to them. Maybe he was one of those riders who doesn't ride at the slightest sign of rain! That could explain it. As Radio Patrol posted there are a lot of RUBs. The ones that want to be bad boys on the weekend (if the weather is right). I'm not saying all HD riders are like this, I know quite a few who "live to ride", not "live to show".

You beat me to it!!

And ANYONE can buy Harley stickers to put on their trucks.. I know a great grandmother that use to come out on Mondays for wing night with us, she had a Harley Sticker on the back of her car. She didn't own a bike, just the sticker.

Just owning a bike doesn't make you considerate of other riders. You have to be a considerate person in the first place.

:yeahthat: I've had people ask me about my bike and I notice the sticker on their window or they'll be wearing a HD T-shirt and I ask what model they ride. Quite often the answer is "I don't have a bike, but if I did it would be a Harley"

I have a tshirt with a picture of a Marlin jumping, but I don't have one and have never caught one. Does that make me a poser? :lmao:

I'm sure 9 out of 10 people "Would ride a Harley." Of course, 9 out of 10 people don't know squat about motorcycles, either.

Have you at least been off shore fishing?

And Yes I thought of the maybe he doesn't even own a bike. But I have to ask why would someone deck out their pickup with Harley stickers and mudflaps.

(Time to piss a few more folks off) I guess the same reason someone buys an H2 and doesn't go off roading.

Not exactly on topic, but what about this for sending mixed signals? I'm riding down the road yesterday, Independence Day, with a little US of A flag on my bike. Wifey is wearing a "Che" tee shirt. :lmao:

As in Che Guevara:
After his death, Guevara became an icon of socialist revolutionary movements and a key figure of modern pop culture worldwide. His image has been used on t-shirts, protest banners, etc.
Very anti American dude. Helped Castro in Cuba.

I was thinking about wearing my KGB T shirt my ex got while she was at the Moscow summit way back when. But I just couldn't do it.
