Well, "shock TV"; my own term, kinda; is one thing; but coughing, wheezing, crying babies?? Just tears my heart out, even if it's not real.

Another "for the chillen's" ploy.

The air, water and earth surface in general is exponentially cleaner than it was than when the majority of us were kids, but some people just are never happy, and no matter how much it costs want it cleaner than it would be humanly possible to do (at least with Humans still occupying the earth).

Personally I wouldn't worry about the US environment until the rest of the world was as clean as we are. They should send that commercial to China or India, get them to progress aways before we do ANYthing else.

Exactly. I turn the channel when it comes on. It is a very effective commercial and will probably achieve its purpose.

It is not the message that they are trying to portray that affects me. It is just the sound bite that they use. Other than that, just another commercial to head off for a smoke break or fridge run during.
