"That is why I have come."

Mark 1:35 Very early in the morning, while it was still dark, Jesus got up, left the house and went off to a solitary place, where he prayed. 36 Simon and his companions went to look for him, 37 and when they found him, they exclaimed: “Everyone is looking for you!”
38 Jesus replied, “Let us go somewhere else—to the nearby villages—so I can preach there also. That is why I have come.” 39 So he traveled throughout Galilee, preaching in their synagogues and driving out demons.
Jesus didn't want to spend all His time on earth healing in the city. He had a Mission.

He had something to teach the masses.

He had to end the death sentence caused when Adam and Eve partied with the serpent out in the garden.

Jesus didn't have time to lay around watching the playoffs.

He had a desire to teach the masses.

He had to get out of the confines that house and that synagogue because the masses were in need.

Have we noticed that Mark [John Mark the author of this Gospel] is basing his gospel on "The Mission"?

Jesus said it Himself "That is why I have come".
