The thing about hip-hop today is it's smart, it's insightful. The way they can communicate a complex message in a very short space is remarkable.

Yes, it's amazing how insightful and complex hip hop artists can be with so few words.Shorty I wanna know if you come over
If you don't mind girl put your legs up on my shoulders (ooh-wee!)
Don't lie, I can see it in your eyes
You want for you and I to do the freaky things you like
When I put-put-put it on girl, when I put-put-put it on ya
When I put-put-put it on girl, when I put-put-put it on ya
When I put-put-put it on girl, when I put-put-put it on ya
When I put-put-put it on ya, put-put-put it on ya
Profound.Huh! I'm the narcotic king, call me sire
Night after night light the club on fire
I'm gettin a lil' tipsy anybody seen Mya?
I'm a have her screamin for her back like Khia
Now we in the penthouse they in the lobby
Gucci frames on I don't see nobody
Damn lil' mama I'm a need yo' body
And smart. When I hit da dance floor, y'know I'm doin the Stanky Legg (do it!)
Salsa merengue, den ya rub across ya head
You a ace boon coon chick, you can do it too
Snap ya fingers in the urr and shake yo' micros too (ayy!)
Did any president suggest country was smart, insightful, and filled with complex messages - as a whole? If not, what's your point in bringing up those particular songs?because "honkey tonk ba donkey donk" is very profound. Or how about "redneck woman" thats very classy. Some songs aren't made to be smart just made to get you dancing and having a good time. You know what is smart about these types songs is that someone is making money off simple lyrics that are played on every radio station and in every bar or club. Do any of you make millions?
If i wasnt so tired I would find lyrics to inspirational rap songs, be back later with them. What I will say is truelly listen to any Tupac song and you will see he is only speaking of the truth he saw growing up. Or google India Arie, any of her songs will bring a smile to any face, shes not rap but she is black and thats what everyone always wants to put down.
