How long does it to synopsize Gone With the Wind, 1984 or any other classic literary work? The Cliff's Notes version is never the same as actually reading the book.rack'm said:How long does it take to say, "treat others like you want to be treated"?

Part of the enjoyment of any book outside pop fiction is the prose and the imagery. Even Green Eggs and Ham - wouldn't be the same if they just said, "Guy didn't want green eggs and ham, then decided he liked them after all. The end."

I, for one, would appreciate removing a lot of the "fluff" for the alleged 'facts'.willie said:.
For those that believe various "interpretations" have corrupted the Bible, imagine what a 100 minute version will do. Worthless.
According to publicity for the book, the 100-Minute Bible "picks out the principle stories of the life and ministry of its central character, Jesus Christ." "The social and theological context of these stories is provided by outlining the ups and downs of the history of his nation, the Jews. It then proceeds to record the story of the growth of Christianity during the first century; firstly amongst the Jews themselves; then amongst the other peoples living in Israel and then throughout the eastern Mediterranean, even as far as Rome."
