Try opening a business in China and tell them about your freedom ideas......I’d prefer more American-based manufacturing, but to the extent they are prosperous and robust. Not just because they are American, but because they are American *and* profitable. Yes, not every company is profitable from day one. But there are a few domestic steel producers which are profitable, and without significant debt. What are they doing that others can’t or aren’t? But none of that is hardly the point.
While I will suggest the US government certainly has an interest in what large manufacturers do and who owns them, etc. how far does it go?
My question is that given we still have freedom of association, how much force is considered reasonable by the armed agents of the State to apply to prevent such a transaction?
I'm not convinced that Fetterman is anyone but the same guy he always was - he hasn't turned a corner, changed his view or even embraced anything conservative. He supports almost to the last, most Democratic positions.
I kinda like him now
and that is my concern.I don't care what he says, he will vote with the Borg.
He also has a Union to placate. Lots of $$. I don’t know where hr stands as a fundraiser, gotta look that up.and that is my concern.
It would be SO NICE if people went to Washington and voted what the voters who elected them wanted vs. party bs.
I hope he continues making sense.
For $50,000 Alex, what is National Security. That’s cool and all, but what place does government have in stopping a mutually-beneficial transaction between free and rational actors?
In the case of Pennsylvania and their woke thinking I am not sure that Democrats are not voting for what the idiots of Pennsylvania want.and that is my concern.

Be careful what you wish for.For $50,000 Alex, what is National Security.
Apparently, the Gov't can & do whatever the phuck they want to...or haven't you been paying attention? That’s cool and all, but what place does government have in stopping a mutually-beneficial transaction between free and rational actors?
"As an alum of Harvard — look, I graduated 25 years ago, and of course it was always a little pinko," Fetterman told Semafor this week "But now, I don’t recognize it."
Am I the only one that has this ******* on ignore? If someone on the bus continually has toxic flatulence issues, do you still sit next to them every morning? Ignore it and it will eventually go away. Stop feeding the troll already. It's only purpose in life is to get a reaction. It's a sad, sad shell of a human being.Apparently, the Gov't can & do whatever the phuck they want to...or haven't you been paying attention?
Nevermind...you haven't been. It's obvious...
