OK... Just kidding.

At least for now.

Who is Gen. Richard Cavazos, the man behind Fort Hood's new name?

Fort Hood's renaming will serve as a fitting tribute to the Army's first Hispanic four-star general, three retired generals who fawned over the Texan told Fox News.

The Central Texas post will be named after the late Gen. Richard Cavazos, a hero of the Korean and Vietnam wars who demonstrated "valor and leadership" throughout his Army career, according to the Pentagon. It's one of nine Army posts nationwide that will be renamed as part of the Department of Defense's effort to remove Confederate-affiliated symbols from military property.

"I think that's a wonderful tribute," retired Army Lt. Gen. Robert T. Clark told Fox News. "He would be very humbled at the very idea of that."

With all the Logistics, services, IT, records, Official material etc.

Probably 10s of millions, if not 100s.

This is my problem with the mindless wokesters. I couldn't care less what they call Ft. Hood - I don't even know who Hood is. My problem is the obscene amount of our tax dollars they throw at these things, and I know damn good and well it's just a palm greasing so the cronies can buy another mansion or private plane while American taxpayers struggle to afford groceries.

For your consideration ...

It's not just with the renaming, but retraining.

What our potential future foes are doing.

And ...... what we in the U.S. are doing.

Sitting in a classroom being force fed gender studies, takes precious time away from actual down and dirty necessary field training.

It's bad enough they renamed Lakehurst to Joint Base McGuireDixLakehurst, had people on the McGuire side instead of the Lakehurst side because all the signs say Joint Base McGuireDixLakehurst. They stopped and asked directions and were told "that's navy, you want Lakehurst"

Why not name the bases like the professional sports teams do with their stadiums. Joint Base Preparation H, Naval Station Kotex, Fort Burger King.

If that doesn't work for you, then give them numbers. But skip 13, because nobody will want to be stationed there.

I'd prefer Naval Base Biden or Naval Base Pelosi. This way, the ports will only have a single outlet to rivers that flow within our borders so the ships can attack our own states!

Well, it's better than Fort "How many female soldiers have been assaulted, raped, and killed?"

Rolls off the tongue a little easier.

Have you forgotten the Navy's numbering convention? Building 6419 is right between buildings 14 and 279, across the street from 3526B (and nobody knows where 3526A got off to).
