Michael Henderson, owner of Buzz's Marina in Ridge finally got to fish himself on 11-21-05. He caught a beautiful 52 inch 50 pound rockfish trolling at Buoy Marker 72 A using a white umbrella rig. We have seen several in the forty inch range but this one was the best so far! You can see the fish at www.buzzsmarina.com under fish tales.

For some reason all the fish have been taken different bait this year than they normally do.....maybe they just decided to trick us this year...haha, but there out there...we've caught a few nice ones so far...just takes alot of patience an trying alot of different baits....thats what we have come up with...but thats definitly one big a$$ fish he done caught....
I'd love to catch one of those monsters someday.

Come Play at BigWoodys
Went out last week in the same area south of the Lighthouse. Trolled for 8 hours got 3. What was very scary to see was the damn commercial big boys out there with their net systems. What the hell are they doing this far up in the damn bay. Some of the captains tried skimming the crab pots and had ok luck but one captain lost a board and 9 rigs doing it. Then lost the other board with it flipped over and lost a whole rig including the rod...
