Yikes
I saw Bruce and the E Street band live in the Elliott Hall of Music around 1977 or 78. Clarence was still in the band then...and I have to say it was one of the best, most dynamic, concerts I've ever been to. And I've been to a lot of them. Sad to see how far Bruce has "fallen" in recent years...whether we're talking about his music or his political views. He never could carry a tune in a bucket. This just proves that anyone who can but together a good backup band, can be a star.

BTW, I've always loved his old music but hate his politics. I can ignore his politics.I saw Bruce in the 80's and it was a great concert. I always loved Clarence and his Saxophone.
My kids took me to see him in September. Not the show it was back then, but this time it was an outside venue.
His band was great and Clarence's nephew is now the sax player. He was good, but not Clarence....

Baby this town puts the scrapes on your knees,
and Diddy he only pees on you while you're young...
Laid on a platter with shrimp balls in your lap,
it's a death trap, an Arkancide rap.
Mr. Emhoff oils up and says "Diddy, call me Jack",
It's a challenge with a boiled egg up your back.
But we'll go and we'll lie to the Baltimore Sun
but Kamala, you were not born to Run
