I went to school in los angeles. I didn't speak english. There was no ESL program, there was no speaking spanish or translating, or teachers teaching in spanish. I said the pledge of allegiance. The red white and blue was always in the corner of every room. By second grade I understood english, by third grade I talked too much. I melted into this country, I got absorbed. So will the kids of the idiots who refuse to learn english or who don't want to be American. In just a couple of generations, I will be a rumor in the family tree. "I think I have some mexican blood in me"......I really could not stand California or Texas school systems. They were wiping this countrys forefathers out of history, That is why we left the soutwest.
