Hodges honors Charles Ramsey with a burger, Angelo's Pizza in Lakewood pledges donation: Restaurant Row | cleveland.com

Sales of the tee-shirt emblazoned with an image of Charles Ramsey -- the hero who helped rescue kidnap victim Amanda Berry, leading to the rescue of her daughter, Gina DeJesus and Michelle Knight -- have thusfar raised $17,500, reports Chris Hodgson, chef and co-owner of Hodges restaurant in downtown Cleveland.

Now Hodgson is showing a little extra love to Ramsey. In tribute to the hero, who has also worked as a dishwasher at Hodges and is currently on paid leave. The chef has created The Ramsey Burger.

I saw them interviewing his neighbors a couple of nights ago, they say he lied and that he was afraid to go near the house. The woman across the street said her son was the one who rescued the girls.

They interviewed Charles (nothing to do with the neighbors saying anything) and he had such a nasty attitude. I liked him at first, but after that interview, not so much.
