The election of a Socialist/Communist to the Presidency of the United States may very well be the beginning of The Chastisement of the World. Many phophecies predicted this as the Sign.

Time to stock up on Canned Food, etc. and pray that the Chastisment may be lessened.

It is up to the Pope and the Bishops to consecrate Russia to the Immaculate Heart of Mary to save us.

Sorry Bavarian. I sympathize with your belief in the prophecies of Fatima I really do, I just think this time you're taking things a little far. Mark this up to the inevitable persecution if you will; it's to be expected anyway correct?

Are you doubting the Visions at Fatima? Even the non-believers saw the Miricale of the Sun. I read recently where Pope Pius XII had received the vision of the Miracle of the Sun.

The Pope must Consecrate Russia, by name, to the Immaculate Heart of Mary. Then Russia will be converted and a period of peace will ensue. It can not hurt for the Holy Father to do the Consecration.



BTW, I was at Fatima last Spring! The old Basicilca was awe inspriring, all three seers are buried there. The new Bascilica is terrible, it is the worst looking Church I have ever seen.

You do realize that the rosary is a form of various mediations and that there is more involved than just rote prayers, don't you? It's only meaningless to those who are not disposed to that form of meditation, and granted it's not for everybody. Hey, maybe you've tried it and it's not for you, I don't know, but don't knock what you don't or can't understand.

I have this vague awareness that you were once going to enter into the clergy. Is that true? If so, what denomination if you don't mind my asking?

I don't say the rosary myself and don't care if others do but it's not very nice to call it meaningless. For millions of Catholics it's very meaningful. At least the rosaries aren't brainwashing the catholics to go out and blow people up.
