I think thats the car my dad talked about seeing in DC, He said it drove down the street and burned or bubbled the paint on cars on one side of the street during showing the car off. Also said he never heard about it again.
At the Allison Plant in Indy they have a small museum that has a few turbine cars that they built in the 80's with what I saw working on elevators in that building.
