No - say it ain't so! Alas, yes - it's The Forgotten Load, now with Mildew added.

:sigh:

Bleach, detergent, start the washer, and reluctantly, the first assault of Mount Laundry ends in technical difficulties.

But I remain undaunted, for I shall renew the challenge in 45 minutes or so (when the washer finishes the load).

Well, I attacked the West Peak. I was tough I'll tell you; nearly suffocated by mildew and blinded by swirling clouds of pet fur and lint, I reached the summit and began to tear it down.

First it was a few washcloths, then some hand towels, and before long I was pulling whole bathtowels out of the side of that thing! Spurred on by the knowledge that my crusade was not for naught, I triumphantly emptied the washer, loaded the dryer, and started the Extra Large load of Colored Cottons!

Now I've retired across the hall, with the door successfully closed against the frump, frump-frump,frump of the washer and the rumble-tick, rumble-tick of the dryer. Ah the panemonium, the horror surrounding Mount Laundry! I'll be a Legend in my Own Mind!

Well, Pilgrim, we'll have ta move a lotta dirt, but I'm gonna make that....mountain sorry it ever grew here in these parts! 'Cause that's WHO I Am!
