I started watching when my boyfriend called and said hey Captain Kangaroo is at the Coronation. It was this guy and he does look like Captain Kangaroo.

Aside from the massive amount of absurd coverage the turmoil in the Royal Family, it’s interested me somewhere below international curling competition.
I was out Friday night but, wasn't out too late, and set my alarm to wake up at 5:30 because Thing 1 was going to a Special Olympics event. I wanted to make sure he was up. I turned on the TV in the background while I fell back to sleep,and caught a little bit here and there in between dozing. then I checked out the highlights yesterday online.
Meh. I watched merely for the historical purposes of it all because that's what I do. The Pomp and Circumstance is always impeccable at these types of events. The Princess of Wales looked smashing, as always, their children were both adorable and well-mannered, and I will admit to a slight catch in my throat when Prince William pledged his allegiance to the new King.
