The thing is - unless you read exclusively the tons of highly subjective articles written about the case - where facts and evidence and precedent and pretty much all matters of the law were skipped over --
The entire case predicated on an extreme stretching of existing law in order to "get" someone because everything else had failed. Even in articles that were hopeful to get him - comparisons were made to getting Capone on tax evasion, because the evidence simply did not exist or was available for murder, extortion and racketeering.
So you REALLY had to be so full of TDS - and made NO EFFORT whatsoever to read the details of it - to still think he was going to jail.
This was predicting a blizzard in July - POSSIBLE but extremely unlikely.
