Annoying is right but that car is 1 of 1 of the muscle car era and I have not seen anything else or can I remember of another car that rare..all Z/28's from 67-69 were all 302 cid 4 speed trans and 12 bolt rear 2 door hard top...chevy must of loved ole Pete to make a car just for him and a convertible at that.

Rut ro.......... WRONG, Challengers first year was 70, not 69. First NEW car I bought was a 72 340, loved that car till gas went over 50 cents a gallon! Didn't matter how I drove it, nice or a bat outta hell....... 13 mpg.
As far as Camaros go...... the Yenko was the one to have.

MY dad had a 70 Challenger 440 Six Pack 4 sp ORANGE ... ...
One of my dream machines. LOVED Mopar back in the day. They were bad ass. Challenger and Cuda had the best pony car body style. Yes they were called PONY cars, not muscle cars. That was reserved for mid size big mill cars like Charger, Chevelle, Fairlanes ect even though they were just as fast or even faster. I'm old but can remember 50 years ago like yesterday but cannot remember yesterday.

yeah what did I have for breakfast on Wed ?

cars my dad owned in the 1970's Oh Yeah
That's easy for me, I don't do breakfast 99% of the time other than cups of black mud.
First family rod......... 57 Chrysler Saratoga 354, It was 5 tons but would move. I got a 59 Saratoga years later 383 R B block, fast enough to get me arrested. Cop in the Ugly Galaxy said if I had not slowed down going through Upper Marlboro he could not have caught me. :D They were tanks but once rolling............

Thinking about your reply when driving down the mountain to get cigars...........
When 9 years old we would say 9 and 1/2 when the time was appropriate. When did we drop the halves? That half was a big deal to us at the time.
